Beautiful new track premiered at Ultra Festival, check the synth at 1:00 to see what i mean.  Drop comes in at 2:02, love the change of beat at 2:15. Also vocals at 3:00 add another element to the track

Gemini returns with his new track Fire Inside.  This track definitely has a different style much more similar to Electro house of Romero or Zedd etc (It builds to 1:30 like so many songs in this genre).  However, at 2:02 Gemini returns to his roots with a heavy dubstep wobble.

NERO - Crush On You (Knife Party VIP Remix)

VIP for those of you who don't know stands for variation in progress (in other words a remix of the original song).  This is Knife Party's VIP of their original Nero remix and is being played in most of their sets at the moment.  0:55 drop.  Knife Party have altered the tune in the drop sections and have added drum and bass elements (1:07) (no doubt from their Pendulum days).  2:47 to 3:05 is completely different to the original with a jungle vibe.

Change to blog

I have decided to slightly change the format of the blog.  This will mean i will start providing old as well as new tracks in each genre.  This'll provide you first of all with some old tunes and will also allow newcomers to Electro Dance Music (and the other genre's i provide) to be influenced by classic tracks. PS (i'll make it obvious which are the new/old tracks)

Fever brings us those 90's style piano chord progressions with the standard amen break beat.  Soulful lyrics from Elisabeth Troy add to the appeal of the track. 0:56 synth section provides a nice contrast to the piano chords.

Alex Metric has just released his Ammunition EP, Rave Weapon being one of the three tracks.  The name is certainly relevant as this banger would set off a rave and a half! 1:16 drop
